I booked a holiday in Spain. I applied for a visa. However, the travel insurance I did does not refund me if I failed to get the Schengen visa. Does any one know of a UK insurance company that offers insurance that covers trip cancellation due to visa request being rejected by the consular?
Please note that my visa is not rejected yet. However, I want to be ready with a suitable insurance in case this happened.

We’re hoping to find some that are lightweight (as we’re going to be backpacking) and has as small a volume as possible. We’re trying to conserve space and weight as best we can since even 5 extra pounds will make a big difference over two weeks.

Does anybody have any recommendations on where to find these? My normal searches aren’t really finding what I’m looking for. Maybe I’m just not going to find something of this nature, but I have a feeling I’m just not using the right words in my search.
