Some of the best resort facilities in Bali are now opening up to welcoming large corporate tourist groups and family travelers to especially designed private beachfront homes – such as on the Petitenget Seminyak stretch. Though considered the outskirts, this is a trendy part of Bali and just a few minutes from the island’s golden beach delights that tourists from colder climes claim they can never get enough of!

Not only will your Holiday Villa Bali be conveniently located in the trendiest of Bali’s parts, it will also mean you will probably be able to please every member of your family by choosing the right location for your private beach home when you do so. For, this location is in close proximity to the golden beaches that offer plenty of water sports opportunities, a wide choice of high-end shopping pleasures as boutiques line the area along with gourmet delights available at a host of fine restaurants dotting the boulevard.

So, while the other members of your family are suitably engrossed in pursuing personal interests, be it souvenir shopping, picking a designer beach wardrobe or learning local crafts (yes, some beach-front stores provide these classes too), you can leave your cares behind and unwind, at an easy pace, at your very own serene villas Bali location. Some come complete with attached mini-garden, kitchen with in-house local chef on call, or lap pool so you can really put your feet up and vacation in style!

Additionally, if you pick the right private beach villas program, say, for example one that is newly opened and therefore offering a discounted promotional rate or even an off-season rebate, you can get more value for your money at the Holiday Villa Bali of your choice. You can end up paying significantly less than you would at a hotel, which would invariably expect you to share certain facilities with other guests, whereas at your very own private holiday home, you can enjoy unlimited peace, tropical beauty and tranquility and activities without a holiday program coordinator telling you when and how to have fun!

Most luxury properties offer a sense of heightened comfort such as the top-end serene villas Bali tourism is currently presenting for the discriminating value travel shopper, therefore these combine understated elegance in the design of their villas, which typically have air-conditioned bedrooms with fashionable dining, living and kitchen and deck areas. In addition to the above features, the bathrooms are also tastefully done up with designer fittings.

Outdoor terraces attached to the suite usually connect to a mini-pool or garden facility, making a Holiday Villa Bali idea one that will deliver undoubtedly on the privacy, comfort and high-end luxury requirements.

Personalized service from a friendly, yet professional in-house staff and luxurious bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes, WIFI connectivity, a home entertainment center, chinaware and cutlery included in the dining room and necessary kitchen appliances make up the very minimum on offer at the best Holiday Villa Bali. So, be sure to check for these features when you book yours!

Remember your family, honeymoon vacation for a lifetime with a heavenly few days at a luxurious, all services holiday villas Bali in the serene and enchanting islands. Retired couples can rent full service and luxurious serene villas Bali and spend a glorious vacation to remember forever.

I checked on the Bali tourism website – it says Fiji passport holders qualify for VOA – info correct as at May 2007 – however, Indonesian Embassy (in Australia) website states Fiji passport holders need to apply for visa prior to travel – info correct as at 2006

Besides – ACT embassy said – ok for VOA
NSW embassy – made me apply for visa! and pay more than what VOA would cost….

Bali might be a small in size compared to many other tourist islands, but small doesn’t necessarily translate into limited. Access to information about Bali tourism over the Internet with periodical data update is performed any time in order Bali remains to become a popular tourist destination choice for national and international tourists. The calendar of events 2010 published by Bali Government Tourism Office promises many interesting events ranging from cultural/Hindu religious ceremony to the art festivals. The year 2010 seems to bring in a more beautiful promise about Bali as the Bali Art Festival and other festivals such as A Touch of Creativity, Kuta Carnival, Bali Kite Festival, Nusa Dua Fiesta, Bali Write & Reders Festival, Sanur Village Festival and Spirit Festival.

The large island-wide festivals are determined by two local calendars which are completely out of sync with the western calendar, meaning that it rotates wildly throughout the year. So visitors and vacationers in Bali should check the festive itinerary before venturing to the beautiful island paradise if they want to participate or witness a particular event. It would be wise to plan your trip in conjunction with the specific event that you are looking forward to witnessing in Bali unless you are the kind who doesn’t mind flying into and out of Bali any time you choose to. Bali’s average daytime temperatures range between 20 and 33 degrees Celsius (68 to 93 F) while in the December to March period, the west monsoon can turn the island wet and from June to September, the humidity is low and it can be quite cool in the evenings.

Seasonal change makes little difference, so any time is a good to go while it’s worth checking out the main Indonesian holiday periods of Ramadan witnesses domestic tourists fill villas and so prices escalate. Over the years with the influx of tourism, a lot of accommodations, hotels and restaurants have been spouting all over the island, though there are some for everyone, there are also those that cater to exclusivity seekers though you do not have to be super rich to enjoy the islands exclusive hospitality and spaces.

Enclosed beautifully by the terraced rice fields of the Umalas is a very private luxury Bali villa called the Albia Villa which invites you to experience the harmony of life as it happens on this island paradise. Offering a rich blend of rustic serenity with all the latest modern conveniences, Albia Villa is the ideal for those traveling along with their families, small groups or just as a single or honeymooning couple. The four master bedrooms at Albia have their own en-suite changing rooms which are connected to fully furnished modern amenity rich bath and toilet spaces. Moreover Bali villa renters and vacationers can also enjoy many hours of indoor comfort through the music systems, DVD library and also reading international books and magazines. The friendly multi-lingual staff at the Albia pamper you while protecting your need for privacy so that the villa rental experience at Albia is one that will last a lifetime.

Indonesia’s island province of Bali is no stranger to adversity; it has withstood many upheavals throughout its long history and has always emerged stronger than ever. The island has been through intra-island conflicts, occupation by the Dutch, Japanese occupation during World War 2, political upheavals during 1960′s, volcanic eruptions and, most recently, terrorist attacks in 2002 and 2005. At first glance it may seem like Bali has always been home to turmoil and while sensational newspaper headlines seem to reaffirm the fact, reality could not be more different.

Through every major incident, Bali and its inhabitants have stood firm. Widely regarded as a peace loving and friendly people, the local Balinese have remained steadfast in their traditions and beliefs come what may. A province with a majority Hindu population in the world’s largest Muslim nation, the Balinese have always retained their unique identity and faith, despite numerous upheavals and challenges. The most recent tragedies in Bali, the bombings at Kuta in 2002 and 2005, have garnered much attention and condemnation around the world. Almost overnight, Bali went from being a quiet tropical paradise to the front-line in the global war on terror.

Predictably, Bali’s tourist industry suffered after the bombings. Indonesian authorities, mindful of the negative publicity in its most important tourist province, have taken a number of positive steps to improve security in Bali to reassure international visitors. Judging from the strong resurgence of tourist traffic to Bali such measures seem to be working. Soon after each of the terrorist attacks news-media editorials and commentators have signalled the death knell for large scale tourism in Bali – but the complete opposite has happened and the tourist industry has bounced back, stronger than ever.

Tourist figures from 2005 to 2009 show a steady increase in the number of annual tourists to Bali from all over the world. 2.3 million visitors alone showed up in 2009 and 2010 looks to be the best year ever for tourism in Bali. The market has spoken – people from around the world enjoy Bali and feel safe enough to visit in record numbers each year. Such is the demand for Bali that the island’s Ngurah Rai International Airport can barely keep up with the huge volume of international traffic, and authorities have announced the construction of a new airport in the north of the island.

Rather than a decline in tourism in Bali, the opposite has happened. While most of the tourist trade in the south, places like Lovina in north Bali have been going through a resurgence as the hot new draw on the island.

Bali is among the top 100 tourist hotspots in the world, which makes it a valuable property for villa and hotel owners. The culture, scenic beauty and natural greenery of the island make it a paradise for people to spend their vacations in. Bali Tourism has seen a progressive rise since the past few decades, as and when tourists started pouring in to view this volcanic island with its white sand beaches and enormous paddy fields.

The best business in Bali is done by the villa owners. This is because there are a number of villas, large and small, old and new, which are rented to tourists. And since Bali is a tropical island, hence there is business all the year round. The villas are actually preferred by the tourists, because they cost nearly the same as a costly hotel suite or room, but provide much more on luxury and services as compared to hotels. This is because the Bali villas provide all the basic amenities along with a private swimming pool and also a private kitchen with a personal chef, who cooks you world class cuisines at any time of the day, on your request. Opting for Bali Villa Rental is a great idea indeed.

Many of the villas that are rented in Bali were actually made by the Dutch, when they initially colonized in this island decades ago. Hence the villas bear a western touch in their design and architecture, which is preferred by most of the tourists. The living rooms and bedrooms are spacious and airy and placed in the right positions to exploit the brilliance of nature.

The villas are positioned at many different spots on the island. This is due to the fact that life and culture at different places in Bali is different and there is something for everyone in this island. Bukit is a place for the people who love to view the calm and serene sea from there verandah. Seminyak is preferred by the party lovers who enjoy the bright night life of Bali during their stay. Canggu and Ubud are places where the peace loving people can enjoy the view of the vast paddy fields and rice terraces.

So, once you have decided to own a property in Bali, you must consider the position first, which will prove a long-term viability for you. You must do some research on the hotspots of Bali, which are flocked by most people all the year round. It will be best if you chose a multi-season spot that will bring you business in every season of the year.

Once the spot is set, you must compare prices of the property available there. Consider the returns and future gains on each spot. See if the property you are investing in will bring you good profits. Instead of buying a plot and building your own property, you can also rent or own a readymade villa or a hotel, which you can let out later. One thing you must remember while renting a home in Bali, is that you must monitor it from somewhere close to the location. This is because the owner often needs to handle the discrepancies between the tourists and the hotel employees and also look into the problems of his guests.
Watch the video related to bali tourism

The basic idea is to combine the conveniences of a five-star resort with the cultural richness of a Balinese private home. A Bali hotel experience of a different kind.

Over the years this type of accommodation has increased vastly in popularity with travelers looking for something special and exclusive.

The difference between large hotel chains and boutique hotels is that they don’t provide 100′s of rooms but instead secluded luxury in small and intimate resorts.

A “home away from home” is a bit a stressed expression, but it describes quite accurately what you may find. A really private space in a total different location, thousands of miles away from home. You already could find that easily in many Bali hotels that are always different than big city hotels and even more so in boutique hotels.

All amenities are usually provided in these resorts to make you feel comfortable. Individual service with a personal touch makes all the difference, and a villa with an selection of things you don’t want to miss like a sound system and satellite TV, several cozy in- and outdoor areas for relaxation, and refreshingly different styled bathrooms surely add to the ingredients to make you enjoy your stay.

Some icing on the cake may be a private Jacuzzi, plunge or swimming pool. What would be life in the tropics without it.

A resort in Ubud was ahead of its time and has been copied by newly built ones a several times since then. It’s the Pita Maha, build by a member of the Royal family of Ubud in Bali. The concept of a river view resort with spa is taken from the Tjampuhan hotel and greatly refined through adding privacy by establishing a exclusive luxury villa concept. More about this resort later.

On the ocean side it was Four Seasons in Jimbaran who first successfully introduced the private villas concept within a hotel. Of course they also went to Ubud to build The Four Seasons Sayan. Overlooking the Ayung river it became too small for the demand already and new villas have been added.

The leading resorts in this field try to accomplish a secluded setting of each villa, permitting undisturbed outdoor life with outdoor dining areas. So life within nature can be experienced in Bali style. Some of the villas have outdoor bathrooms and private plunge pools as well.

Many known Bali hotels and resorts are renovating and redesigning themselves to follow this trend. Alam Kul Kul in Legian added boutique elements, The Villas in Seminyak are a good example to fully mature this concept, all villas have a private swimming pool and offer the privacy requested by clients.

In Jimbaran the Jimbaran Puri bali is a good beach side concept and must be booked early. The negative side of Boutique resorts is really the limited availability of rooms. It seems that because of the initially understated expectancy a few years back when the success of small high end resorts wasn’t guaranteed, some of them are maybe build a bit too small.

Now the situation is very much different, travelers looking for that special place to spend a vacation, and are willing to pay for the extra luxury. The Ubud area is leading the way with resorts such as Kamandalu Resort, The Alila or the Natura Resort, one of the better and most convincing additions.

In the meanwhile we saw the opening of many new intimate small Bali hotels over the last few years, it seems a trend unbroken despite the slow down and recent recovery in the Bali tourism industry. Bali is once again the tropical dream location on a small island that currently attracts more individual travelers than mass group tours. Personally I am happy with this development and hope it will stay like this, as it supports space and tranquility for a personal experience in a location that ‘is made’ to be experienced this way.

Bali is an Indonesian island located at the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country’s 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island. With a population recorded as 3151000 in 2005, the island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia’s small Hindu minority. 93.18% of Bali’s population adheres to Balinese Hinduism, while most of the remainder follow Islam. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.
Surrounded by mystic mountains, Semarang is an appealing place to unwind the mind and soul through excursions along the clay trails. Semarang has a mesmerizing old world charm towered with Dutch colonial architecture fused with contrasting modern mid-rises. Far away from the hustle and bustle of tourist destinations, Semarang presents itself as a place where you can enjoy the serenity along with the composite mix of Javanese, Chinese, Indian and Arabian cultures. The simplicity of Semarang is bound to strike an invisible chord with the traveler who has the passion to discover the natural ambience of life as it is.

Semarang is the capital city of Central Java in Indonesia and is located on Java’s northern coast. A trip to the Candi Hill gives a breathtaking view of the mystic plateau’s port, the scenic lowlands and the green paddy fields. One of the major attractions in the city is the beautiful Sam Po Kong temple built in honor of the Chinese commander, Cheng Ho of the Ming Dynasty who visited Semarang in the early 15th century. The Dieng Plateau situated north of the small town named Wonosobo has many beautiful ancient Hindu temples which are worth a day’s tour. Alternatively, within two hours distance, you can go to Borobudur temple in Muntilan and then to Prambanan temple in Klaten. Apart from the monument Tugu Muda, Semarang has quite a few museums showcasing Javanese culture. There a several amusement parks in the city which makes your trip all the more happening.

The best part in Semarang is its amazing landscape which owes a lot to its coastal area in the northern part with Tanjung Mas as its international harbor. The southern part has hills which stretch from Candi to Bukit Sari with the picturesque Mount Ungaran at the background. The hills of Bukit Sari are endowed with a dreamy appeal which looks charismatic during dusk and it’s just the perfect place to be with your loved one. For nature lovers, make sure not to miss the scenic drive to Salatiga and the adjacent cities like Solo and Yogyakarta. Semarang is also popular for its street food which comes unbelievably cheap and you can actually pamper yourself with the authentic Semarang cuisine and other local delicacies. Semarang also boasts of a picturesque golf club, Semarang Golf Club, where you can indulge yourself all day long.

Putting up is quite easy as there are several mid-range and luxurious hotels in Semarang which offer a combination of friendly and professional service. Nearly all the hotels are in set in admirable locations and offer an easy access and getaway to the Ahmad Yani International Airport. Taxis and rental cars are the preferable ways to explore the areas in and around Semarang.
