Happy new year!!! I need a lot of advise about my upcoming honeymoon in Greece. My fiance and i are getting married in august and we plan on going a couple of days after the wedding. We already have our minds set on a 12 night trip and we want to visit athens, mykonos, santorini, and crete. I have inquired with a few honeymoon package websites and I just dont know if im getting the best deal or if i should do everything on my own.

I want to stay at 4 star or better in all hotels and i got a quote from an agency for $7000 total for the both of us and I was hoping to get some guidance on how much i should expect to pay for a trip like that. $7000 sounds a bit high but I know absolutely nothing about what to expect so forgive me if i sound like an idiot. This doesnt include airfare because i have miles so fortuneatly i have that paid for.

Does anyone have any experience with an agency or doing everythigng on their own? Does anyone have any good suggestions that i should consider? Honestly, I’m very worried about booking this wrong and i want to make this a very memorable moment and im just worried im going to do this wrong and I dont want to overpay because money is very tight with all the wedding costs.

I don’t remember registering for anything but I may have.. I’ve registered for all kind of brosures and stuff. So basically she said we have to attend one of their bridal shows to pick up the info (i guess) on it. She named all these different places that are all inclusive places like the bahamas, hawaii, etc. We just have to pay for our flights. I’m wanting to know if anyone has ever heard of this or if you think its legit or not??

We want to keep everything under $3000–airfare, room, side trips, food, souvenirs, and all-inclusive would be great. I really want a very nice (4+,5 star resort) with a honeymoon package like a candlelit dinner on the beach and flowers/towel arrangements, etc. We’ve thought about Jamaica and Riviera Maya in Mexico (really like El Dorado Seaside Suites by Karisma, but the price may be just a bit too steep). Anyone know of any great resorts or other suggestions?
