  1. Tourism yes, economically no. Most of the bonds are on the educational or cultural aspects

  2. Tiger balm in Singapore.

  3. Indonesia is a developing country. On average, we're considered to be a middle-income country. We still have about 40% of our people living in poverty. It depends on your criterias of "being poor", actually. Our economy does improve, but the results are not yet to be seen to improve the living quality in the village. We still have a long way to go.

  4. hey please calm down all people -_-;;; seriously. im indonesian, but i have nothing against each side ok? leave it as peaceful as it can allright.

  5. @senichi15 malaysian don’t care about what he (as Indonesian) said? GAHAHAHA…!!! you crack me up man!!! if they didn’t care about him then why are there sooooo many malaysians in his chanell (and in my chanell too, and read their foul language towards Indonesians, especially me)

  6. No…I haven't but the place seems interesting…

  7. Of course there are the natural catastrophes, a few attacks. But also one thing that is really important to know is that there are a lot of tourists that are serving long jail sentences for srud smugling. About 4-5 years a go, staff members from the airport were caught smugling drugs from australia to indonesia by using passenger's suitcases without them knowing. There is a girl serving 20 years in Indonesia because drugs were found in her boogie bag. She claims it wasn't hers and I believe it because when she went through Sydney's airport security check, nothing was found in her bags. Once she got in Indonesia, drugs showed up all of a sudden.

You could only imagine how such situations have scared people to travel there. It's really sad because it is such a beautiful country.

  8. your words are nothing but jealousy and dissatisfactory to Malaysia..
those all crap words that you are saying can’t be valid to debate on this issue,,
find more evidence for what did you think and say..
if we did request,,why did your people accept,,we didn’t force people,,wake up,,babe,,your people who the one desparate for money..just look at the street,,many beggars are begging for money,,rather than you jealous to us,,it’s better to help them..thank you…

  9. @senichi15..hey you stupid malingsia fuck..the malingsia government is the one who requested the TKI in the forst place..get your info straight..dumb ass

  10. The impacts would be what you'd expect from tourism in any other developing countries in the world.

    Negative impacts:
    - The direct income for an area is the amount of tourist expenditure that remains locally after taxes, profits, and wages are paid outside the area and after imports are purchased; these subtracted amounts are called leakage. In most all-inclusive package tours, about 80% of travelers' expenditures go to the airlines, hotels and other international companies (who often have their headquarters in the travelers' home countries), and not to local businesses or workers. In addition, significant amounts of income actually retained at destination level can leave again through leakage. Of each US$ 100 spent on a vacation tour by a tourist from a developed country, only around US$ 5 actually stays in a developing-country destination's economy.

    - Tourism development can cost the local government and local taxpayers a great deal of money. Developers may want the government to improve the airport, roads and other infrastructure, and possibly to provide tax breaks and other financial advantages, which are costly activities for the government. Public resources spent on subsidized infrastructure or tax breaks may reduce government investment in other critical areas such as education and health.

    - Increasing demand for basic services and goods from tourists will often cause price hikes that negatively affect local residents whose income does not increase proportionately.

    - Diversification in an economy is a sign of health, however if a country or region becomes dependent for its economic survival upon one industry, it can put major stress upon this industry as well as the people involved to perform well.

    - The seasonal character of the tourism industry creates economic problems for destinations that are heavily dependent on it. Problems that seasonal workers face include job (and therefore income) insecurity, usually with no guarantee of employment from one season to the next, difficulties in getting training, employment-related medical benefits, and recognition of their experience, and unsatisfactory housing and working conditions.

    Positive impacts:
    - Tourism expenditures and the export and import of related goods and services generate income to the host economy and can stimulate the investment necessary to finance growth in other economic sectors.

    - Contribution to government revenues

    - Employment creation and generation

    - Stimulation of infrastructure investments

-Contribution to local economies and the country as a whole

    Sorry it's very long
